I was one of the fortunate to have attended this strange park. I still have a pennant from it. I met Gilligan there and vividly remember the singing midgets. The lady midget was singing "Baby Face" and during the song asked me if I was married. I was seven or so at the time and was so awe struck, I said yes. The pinball ride was cool, but I remember it being SUPER loud. The crystal carousel was broken and that made me sad. The Puffinstuff ride was my favorite as I watched the show all the time. Riding the escalator up to a carnival type entrance with a guy walking on stilts and balloons everywhere was really cool. I remember looking over the balcony at the ice skating rink too.

I LOVED THE SID AND MARTY KROFFT PARK. I STILL HAVE MY TICKET STUBS AFTER ALL THESE YEARS. I WISH IT WERE STILL AROUND SO I COULD HAVE TAKEN MY OWN CHILDREN TO SEE THE JOY AND STRANGE WONDER OF IT ALL. THE CRYSTAL CAROUSEL WAS A SIGHT TO BEHOLD AND I CAN STILL SEE IT IN MY MIND AS IF IT WERE JUST YESTERDAY. I THINK THE PINBALL RIDE WAS THE THE MOST UNUSUAL RIDE STILL. AFTER 40 YEARS I CAN STILL SEE THAT STRANGE MAGICAL ENCHANTED PLACE AS IF I HAD JUST BEEN THERE. A RETURN IS WANTED AND BELIEVE ME IT WOULD BE ENJOYED AGAIN AND AGAIN AND ACCEPTED BY YOUNG AND OLD ALIKE WITH ARMS WIDE OPEN TO EMBRACE THE MAGIC OF IT ALL.

I'm an Atlanta native but was born nearly a decade after they closed The World of Sid and Marty Krofft and never knew it had even existed in the heart of downtown. Once I discovered the parks past existence, I was devastated that I was never given the opportunity to attend what sounded to be the most fantastic theme park in my hometown. I wonder if an orchestrated petition calling for the redevelopment of the amusement park would help make it come to fruition.

WAS THERE A STORE IN THE THEME PARK? WHAT WAS THE NAME OF IT? WHAT TYPE OF ITEMS DID THEY SELL AND WHAT HAPPEN TO THEM? I NEVER SEE ANY OF THE SOUVENIRS ANYWHERE.

I would have LOVED to visit Thw World of Sid and Marty Krofft! I wasn't even a twinkle in my father's eye when it shut down, however :( They need something like that today!!! I know a million people who would go like every weekend. I think they should try a theme park again =D

after researching and looking I finally bought the clowns head that you see in this Article. I bought it from Jerry bruns himself for a undisclosed amount of money. It's sits with me till this day. It is a neat part of the park and since nothing was left from the park, it is also extremly rare and unique. I have heard of few pieces making it out alive but this is the only one I know of. It's mine to keep forever. Thank you Jerry Burns for selling me this item. I am taking great care of it. :)

I LOVED the World of Sid and Marty Krofft...especially the crystal carousel, the pinball ride, the little person in the lips costume that kissed everyone, and all of the other weird stuff that was there. I wish it was still around.
