T. MODEL FORD is what most folks would call the real deal. He's a self-acknowledged "bad man" who bangs out a dirty racket that's ornery as hell and driven by tales of woe and ass whuppings made worse by bad booze and bad times with the opposite sex. Ford's broken blues stomps are set to a junk-yard clatter that's rife with sweat, grit and front-porch bard poetry. He's old and he's angry, and his songs sting with timeless humility and hostility.
