The Southern Bicycle League takes a slight detour from the traditional holiday gluttony to celebrate the season with some actual physical labor. And who couldn't use a reason to work off those holiday pounds? The league trolls local neighborhoods on two wheels for the biggest and brightest holiday light displays in its annual CHRISTMAS LIGHT RIDES, a weeklong series wrapping up its final days Wed.-Fri., DEC. 17-19. Closer to a beach cruiser pace than a Tour de France one, the rides tour neighborhoods including Buckhead, Vinings and Decatur, while offering Atlantans an opportunity they may not otherwise get sitting in traffic.
