For years, we called it the Fall A&E Guide, but then we wondered: Why limit ourselves? Why limit our readers?
Which is why this year's Fall Guide is an A&E guide, a get-out guide, a do-something guide, a consider-this guide.
In these pages, you'll find plenty of arts-and-entertainment options – starting right here with a list of can't-miss autumnal events. But you'll also discover suggestions for the great outdoors, festivals and even volunteer activities that kick into a higher gear with cooler temperatures. Finally, we profile some of the Atlantans to watch this season.
Speaking of which, the lead character from Turandot, September's season opener for the Atlanta Opera, graces our cover and this page as well. The production marks the company's move into its new digs at Cobb Energy Performing Arts Centre. The plot to Turandot revolves around the need for suitors to answer three riddles to secure the hand of the titular princess.
We'll make it easier for you. Check out this Fall Guide, and all the riddles will be solved.
