Fernbank Museum's fabulous IMAX theater, famous for bringing nature (and sometimes alcohol) to its audiences, has turned the remote over to the public for its IMAX FILM FESTIVAL. The ballots are in, plunging audiences headfirst into New Orleans, from Cajun culture to the horrific aftermath of natural disaster, with Hurricane on the Bayou; and allowing them to witness the birth of democracy in one of the world's most celebrated ancient societies with Greece: Secrets of the Past. Through Aug. 30. $8-$15. Call or check website for times. 767 Clifton Road. 404-929-6400. www.fernbankmuseum.org.
