TODAY’S CREATIVE LOVING PROFILE
is still under construction, but there are several sections worth noting. In particular, Dirt on Display and Famous Dirt featuring several dirt samplings from various Rolling Stones members' abodes are really interesting. You would think that all dirt looks alike, but a few minutes in this online weirdness and you will find out that's not the case. My favorite dirt is from in front of the Elvis Is Alive Museum. Perhaps it's sacred dirt that Elvis has walked on.
It tends to be the case
"Welcome to the Really Big and Important Survey of Human Tendencies. While legitimate news sources and research institutes waste their time conducting surveys for frivolous reasons such as determining which political candidates people are going to vote for, or if people support or oppose gun control, we decided to poll the serious opinions that everybody needs to know in order to live a happy and successful life, such as toe fungus awareness, how often buttocks are exposed in public, and exactly how long a sentence can be before it gets too long." Finally people are asking the questions I want to know the answers to!

Did you know that there is a group of people who call themselves the World Rock Paper Scissors Society? Yes, it's true and you can be one of them for $7 a year. I thought it was just something to distract two younger siblings while you hogged the front seat all to yourself. But nay dear readers, I was wrong. You can even check out the strategy guide. No, I didn't mistype -- a strategy guide.
"The following scanned photos of roadsigns (and other signs) were taken while jaunting around Texas gawking at wildflowers. We are not professional class photographers, so many of the photos are of less-than-great quality (to say the least). Nevertheless, we hope you are as amused as we were to discover these very real signs of Texas. Stop and have a look and a laugh." However, you also need to know, these signs could easily be found in and around Georgia.

If you're bored and you are one of those people who think you know everything, stop by the Lyrics Challenge and find out you don't. "OK, so you like music. You listen to the radio and keep your favorite CD's going non-stop. You jam to your Walkman and cruise around with your car stereo cranked up. But how well do you really listen to the music and the lyrics? Well, here's your chance to find out. This is how it works. At left are the current Lyrics Challenge games. Just pick your favorite artist or genre of music to start the game. You'll be given some lyrics from a song and you guess what the song is. Pretty simple concept." It's hard! www.breakspeed.com/lc/
A few more categories would be nice, but it's still a good site.
Right on time
Can you never find out what time it really is? I feel your pain. I have two computers on my desk and they're currently 6 minutes apart. The clock on the wall in the living room reads a different time entirely and the other person that lives in my house has not found the time to change the clock in their office since we sprang forward or fell back or whatever we did that jerked me around for a week or two and made me late or early for everything. And then there's the alarm clock which is never right. And I think the clock on the stove is set to 1966 time. So, if you must know exactly what the real time is right this minute and you think you trust the Navy, they say they have the right time at

A flash in the pan
Have no money? Want to impress your date? Have no life? Want to impress your pet? "Using only cheap, readily-available equipment, you can create a spectacular lightshow in the comfort of your very own kitchen, providing hours of fun and excitement for your family, friends and pets! Ordinary grapes, when properly prepared and microwaved, spark impressively in an extremely entertaining manner." Yes, I was bored, I tried it. I had a good laugh and went through a lot of grapes. You should try this.
