Alden Penner and Brendan Reed (formerly of Arcade Fire) have risen from the ashes of their respective bands Unicorns and Les Angles Morts with CLUES, a chamber-pop outfit that carries the breadth of their combined pedigrees to mysterious new heights. Together they lead a warm and tempered sound that could only have been crafted in the midst of long, secluded nights spent behind closed studio doors, seeking refuge from the bone-chilling and supernatural winters that sweep over their hometown of Montreal.
