SankofaSpirit presents documentary "BLACK BEYOND BORDERS: CHASING THE AMERICAN DREAM IN SOUTH AFRICA," this month's offering for the Movies with a Mission film series, which counters the negative images of people of African descent prevalent in Hollywood. The tell-all film follows the journey of 12 modern-day Americans who uproot their lives and move to Africa in pursuit of their dreams, examining the trials and tribulations that come along with being an outsider in a foreign land. Grisham speaks about his newest book, The Associate, and shares thoughts on writing his first nonfiction work, The Innocent Man. Proceeds from the evening benefit the Georgia Innocence Project, an organization dedicated to exonerating wrongfully convicted people.
