Cirque du Soleil co-founder Normand Latourelle must bore easily. The mastermind who dreams up the gravity-defying theatrics, crazy contortion and acrobatic wizardry of your standard Cirque show has upped the ante once again, this time throwing creatures of a different nature into the performance mix with CAVALIA. In an exploration of the bond between humans and horses, Cavalia features riders, acrobats, aerialists, dancers and live musicians alongside 60 horses, including Arabians, Lusitanos and Quarter Horses. Two local celebrity colts introduce the show. Through Nov. 15. $34-$109. Tues.-Fri., 8 p.m.; Sat., 3 and 8 p.m.; Sun., 2 p.m. The White Big Top at Atlantic Station, 171 17th St. 866-999-8111. www.cavalia.net.
