Theater: The Love Project

Valentine's Day may have passed, but it's never too late to celebrate amore. In 7 Stages' THE LOVE PROJECT, singer Rhodessa Jones and saxophonist Idris Ackamoor use song, dance and storytelling to reveal how their relationship has evolved after decades on the road. I've never seen Ackamoor before, but Jones is unquestionably a firecracker, as she proved in Hot Flashes, Power Surges & Private Summers, her one-woman show that played at 7 Stages in 2000. The Love Project promises to showcase a pair of performing artists who would be feisty at any age. Through March 5. $10-$20. Thurs.-Fri., 8 p.m.; Sat., 2 and 8 p.m.; Sun., 5 p.m. 1105 Euclid Ave. 404-523-7647. www.7stages.org.
