Poncey-Highland is getting a new brewery/restaurant, and it may happen as soon as the end of this month. It's called New Realm Brewing, and chef Julio Delgado, formerly of JP Atlanta, will lead the kitchen while former Stone Brewing brewmaster Mitch Steele works the tanks. Expect hearty dishes like beer can chicken, brioche burgers, and wood fire pizzas served on multiple Beltline-adjacent patios and even a rooftop. The brewery will produce up to 20,000 barrels at a time.

The Public House in Roswell's historic square is closing this Sun., Dec. 10 after one last brunch service. Open since 1976, when it was called Peasant Restaurant, the restaurant has had many names over the years but most recently operated under J. Christopher's as the Public House.

Rose + Rye in Midtown's famous castle (87 15th St.) is now serving lunch in addition to dinner. A menu of salads, sandwiches, soup, and mains is available from 11:30 to 2:30 p.m.

We know how to get in touch with Santa! There is a North Pole mailbox with zippy delivery to the man in red at Krog Street Market entrance near Hop City.

Whether you need a shopping break or a moment after work, the Shops of Buckhead has a plan. Gypsy Hour at Gypsy Kitchen features $5 glasses of rotating wines and $4-$5 small plates from 4:40-6p.m. weekdays.

Wine deal alert. Marlow's Tavern in Vinings offers half-priced bottles every Thursday from open to close. Have a glass and they will package the remainder to-go!

Just in time for this cold snap, Tin Drum locations have four new comforting bowls. Two ramen bowls, one steak and one chicken include and egg. Two chicken curries- spicy green Thai or sweet potato Thai-are chock full of veggies.

Morningside's Whiskey Bird has entered the Atlanta brunch game. We're seriously intrigued by weekend brunch menu items like Hong Kong bubble waffles, bao benedict, and avocado egg salad toast.

Can you believe Krog Street Market is celebrating its third birthday? It seems like just yesterday we were anticipating each new food stall. They are celebrating all week with $3 bites at most restaurants on Mon., Dec. 11, bingo night on Wednesday with a community punch bowl at Hop City, a DJ spinning holiday tunes on Thursday, and Santa visits on Friday. Happy birthday, PCM!

Perfect for stocking stuffers, East Pole Coffee Co., in collaboration with Xocolatl Small Batch Chocolate, has created a single-origin coffee-infused chocolate bar using their Traffic coffee. Commuter, as the bar is called, is now available at both East Pole's coffee shop in Armour Yards and Xocolatl's chocolate micro factory at Krog Street Market.

Now you have something special to sip with that everything pretzel with Swiss wiz. Downtown's STATS Brewpub is now serving and selling its brewed-in-house beers. Brewmaster Austin Edwards' six house beers are available for $6 each in addition to the menu of craft brews from nearby and across the pond. Here's the lineup: Atlanta Brewnited Pale Ale, Bushwood IPA, Red Zone Amber Ale, 300 Pilsner, Shooter McGavin Wit, and Southpaw Saison.
